Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Manage small capital growth and operations derived projects in Minden, LA project scope, budget, and schedule requirements.
Help develop and maintain Process Safety Information (PSI) for area facilities (P&ID's, PFD's, etc.
).
Coordinate with company operations personnel, as well as outside vendors and contractors for project implementation.
Take part in PSM and other activities for area facilities involving project development and implementation (Design reviews, PHA's, MOC's, training, etc.
) Work with Senior Process Engineers to develop projects that follow:
engineering standards, code compliance, proper company and safety standards, and good engineering practices.
This role is a non-formal technical leader for operations personnel in the organization.
Ability to work independently as well as within a larger Team.
Work with plant operations personnel to help improve plant operations (troubleshooting).
Proactively seeks opportunities to broaden and deepen process engineering knowledge base and proficiencies, and share knowledge with others.
Bachelor's in Engineering Discipline (ChemE or ME preferred)
Experience:
Previous Natural Gas industry understanding 0-3 years Engineering, operations, and/or project experience Software Knowledge:
Microsoft Products Engineering Programs Physical requirements:
Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally Driving, walking, standing frequently Recommended Skills Implement Projects Knowledge Base Natural Gas Occupational Safety And Health Problem Solving Process Engineering Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
